DB Config Tips and Hints
So this works.
In Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, select the Application Pools > DefaultAppPool and then click the “Advanced Settings…” on the right.
Make sure the Identity is set as “ApplicationPoolIdentity”.
Go to SQL Server Management Studio and make sure you are connected with your Windows Authentication. Open up the Security node under your server and right click on the Logins node, then select “New Login…”. Enter in “IIS APPPOOL\DefaultAppPool” for the Login name.
Then select the “User Mapping” node and check the “PersistenceModel” database and then check the “db_owner” “Database role membership…” below. Then click OK.
You’ll probably need to restart IIS for it to pick everything up, but then you should have access via the debugger, Postman, etc…
